boogers Intervention Needed
If the current death rate for people under 60 was the death rate for ALL age
groups we would not be shutting things down.

Because the death rate for people over 60, more so for people over 70 skews the death data so severely we have over-reacted with interventions.

Unfortunately, we are so held hostage to social justice warrior garbage PC culture that it is politically impossible for our elected leaders to take reasonable and rational measures.

Instead of protecting and isolating the elderly and vulnerable while beefing up care facilities and implementing better personal interaction and sanitation standards, we are trying to do all that EXCEPT we are trying to isolate EVERYONE instead of the most vulnerable that account for over 80% of the deaths.

Doing this would somehow violate our tender PC feelings about persecuting old people or something similarly ridiculous, so it is not possible for mayors or governors or the President to do anything other than what we are doing.
