I think this is THE DEFINITIVE LIST right here
1. 1983 Baylor. BYU possibly wins national championship if they are undefeated the whole year.
2. 1985 UCLA, UTEP, and OSU. BYU wins back to back nattys for 1984 and 1985, and possibly three peat due to number 1 above.
3. 1996 UW. BYU possibly wins the NC.
Any other 5 games does not give BYU a real shot at the NC and, IMO, are short sighted selections.
