doing the whole isolation thing (which sucks). Plus, I still have a nagging cough for the last couple weeks so I don't really feel comfortable going out in public and getting dirty looks even though I don't have this bug.

I've heard that for minor cases that it's about a week into the symptoms that things are usually the worst and after about another week things are usually on the downswing.

However, in cases where more severe symptoms occur it could be closer to a month (or more) before you get feeling better.
