RE: I think this is THE DEFINITIVE LIST right here
The margin of loss in all 3 of those games in 85 were less than a touchdown. In all three games Boscoe threw a backbreaking pick 6. The one against UTEP was especially brutal. It was right before the half and we were inside the UTEP 10. Boscoe threw an ill-advised pass into the endzone that went about 105 yards the other way. One of the biggest upsets in NCAA football history. That was UTEP's only win that year. The next week Wyoming was the victim of our rath as we beat them 59-0 at home.

In my opinion the 1985 team was the most talented BYU squad ever, especially the defense. A large percentage of the main contributors to the 1984 NC were Juniors that year. Guys who had significant NFL careers like, Gouvea, White, Kozlowski, Matich and Sikahema were Seniors in 85. Unfortunately the 85 team was not as fortunate injury wise (Bosco had a bum shoulder the last half of the season) but the loss to UTEP. The most dejected I have ever been walking out of Cougar Stadium was the loss to UCLA (27-24) breaking our 25 game winning streak. UCLA opened the scoring on a Bosco pick-6 special. BYU was up 24-19 with about 4 minutes to play. UCLA had the ball with a 4th and about 12 from their own 10 yard line. The UCLA QB dropped to the goal line and a split second before he was absolutely lit up by Jason Buck and Shawn Knight he lofted a bomb to a wide open Mike Sherrard who took the ball to around the BYU 20. We were a split second from putting that game away. Bosco ended the game with yet another interception. In the 1985 season he threw 5 pick sixes, three of which in large part cost us a second perfect season.
