If we had daily death counts for smoking, drunk driving, etc...
Daily death counts are a very very effective way to galvanize the public against something ... World War II, Vietnam, etc ...

If we used that psychology, do you think we could drive down other causes of lots of deaths.

IF we had nightly counts on the News of the number of people who died that day from Drunk Driving ... could we galvanize the public to really crack down on irresponsible drinking?

If we had nightly counts of the number of deaths from smoking ... could we pass even stricter laws on smoking?

If we had nightly counts of the number of deaths from Obesity ...could we get people to eat better?
