I know a guy who has a good job working for a national restaurant chain. Since the restaurants are all closed (they are doing curbside pickup), they have had to lay off a large percentage of their employees. In addition his salary has been cut by 40%, but he's happy just to still have a job. He's concerned because many who have been laid off have no other options for work. He has the skills and experience to get other jobs if his current job disappears. The company is currently losing $1 Million a day.
