It can be acquired that way with close contact and long length of time
next to someone. But again it's main source of transmission if hands to mouth, nose, or eyes. And it can be passed by a silent carrier who is 1-2 days from showing symptoms. Are we to believe that nobody passed anything to one another or moved their chair, etc...There were also snacks set up for the choir members.
I'm not saying singing in a choir is okay, I'm saying get the general public some hand sanitizer to prevent the number one source of transmission.
