Most of what I’ve read is we don’t expect everyone to get it. We expect that
at some point herd immunity (from having had the virus already) will kick in and slow transmission way down.

Not everyone that doesn’t get vaccinated for other viruses gets those viruses. Because the immunity of others is high enough to reduce the transmission.

Again, IIRC, what I’ve read is the herd immunity is expected to kick in at around 60% infected.
