Yes, I think empathy and being vulnerable can help as a leader (though I would use different words such as being understanding and authentic). However, after reading all the LinkedIn posts about the “empathetic leader” and “making yourself vulnerable” I want to distance myself from these attributes.

Not sure why. Maybe I’m just an apathetic fraud.
