I appreciate that competition drives innovation, but the number of platforms is exhausting. Church groups use facebook, then sports groups use the remind app, and family uses whatsapp, friends use iMessage (and punt android people out), callings now have church specific apps for communicating to youth (thanks pervs), schools use dumb apps for messaging that they chose because the superintendent's brother-in-law is the founder of the app-- not to mention work ecosystems versus personal ones, and for many people that means carrying 2 phones, and maintaining 2 phone numbers texts, voicemail, etc.
All these dumb notifications just keep piling up, so I just browse cougarboard.
I'm ready for number 15.
