Key recruits, redshirts, and transfers playing in the WCC for 2020-21.
The WCC had a great year in 2019-20. Virtually tied with the Atlantic 10, it was the best Mid-Major league (behind only the P5 football leagues, the Big East, and the American), and markedly better than the Mountain West for the 2nd season in a row.

Projected 2020 NCAA bids:
BYU
Gonzaga
SMC

Projected 2020 NIT bids:
Pacific
San Francisco

Likely 2020 pay-to-play tournament bids:
Santa Clara
Pepperdine

Although there are some good transfers going out and a number of key seniors leaving, there are strong signs that the league will be very good for the 3rd straight season. I'll start with teams other than Gonzaga (as good as GU has been, 2020-21 probably represents their best class on paper). I'll write a more detailed post on BYU for later:

SMC

The Gaels lose a lot with Jordan Ford (we'll see if Fitts ends up coming back after declaring), but they return some key pieces as well. Additionally, they have what looks like their best recruiting class in years.

Jabe Mullins. 4-star SG. Many offers including Stanford, Oregon State, Washington State, and Utah State.
Judah Brown. 3-star PF. Many offers including Nevada and UTEP.
Mitchell Saxen. 3-star Center. Many offers including Washington and Washington State.

Pepperdine.

Look out for the Waves in 2020-21. They should be a Top 100 team. Pepperdine started slow but ended 8-8 in a tough WCC and with a final NCAA Net Ranking of 131. They lose Kameron Edwards (he never returned to form after injury), but return his younger brother Kessler Edwards (who is better than him), Colbey Ross (43 points in double OT loss to SMC in the WCC Tournament), and Sedrick Altman all appear set to return for their Junior/Sophomore seasons.

4-star redshirt Freshman Majok Deng will be eligible to play after sitting out due to eligibility issues (Deng had offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Georgia Tech, and Vanderbilt).
3-star PF Kendall Munson. Munson committed to Pepperdine over Washington and Washington State.

San Diego.

The Toreros were extremely young this year, and went from a 20 win, Top 100 team in 2018-19 to second to last in the WCC this year. They had one senior on their roster. They have picked up one very good piece.

Junior Transfer Frankie Hughes (guard). After sitting out a year, Hughes has 2 years to play 2. Hughes was a starter at Atlantic 10 school Duquesne. He averaged 9 pts, 1.6 assists and 1 steal per game on a Duquesne squad that went 19-13 in a Top 10 league. He was a high 3-star recruit out of HS, and played his Freshman season at Mizzou where he started in 11 games and averaged 7.6 ppg.

Gonzaga

Gonzaga finished 2020 ranked #2 (AP/Coaches), and ranked #1 in the NCAA Net Rankings. They lose several pieces, but return several pieces, including Petrusev and Timme. They also get back 4-Star and ESPN Top 100 Forward Anton Watson who went down in early January with an injury. What they add for 2020:

5-star McDonald's All-American G/F Jalen Suggs ESPN 100 #5. Offered by many schools, including Ohio State, Michigan State, etc.
4-star SF Julian Strawther ESPN 100 #59. Offered by Kansas, Florida, Arizona, UConn, Georgetown, Illinois, Oklahoma, etc.
4-star SG Dominick Harris ESPN 100 #54. Committed back in January of 2018. Georgetown offered prior to commitment to Gonzaga.
4-star Center Oumar Ballo. Part of the 2019 class, redshirted after international eligibility issues. Offered by Arizona and Baylor.
