she talks to every student, and sometimes groups of students (via Zoom) every day.
Their parents take them out every day. WITH A MASK.
The kids in my housing area are out every day. They a playing like they normally do when they are out of school. They wear masks, and they keep a little distance, but otherwise they are riding their little hoverboards, bicycles, jumping rope, playing badminton, and just being kids.
I have hundreds of employees, and they all take their kids out for a walk and fresh air. They spend more time in public botanical gardens, parks, and by what we have for seashore in Shanghai.
We can do that, because housing areas right now are 'safe places' where they are still monitoring entry/exit, take temps, anyone who comes in has to have a green health pass. Everyone in our housing area has passed a 14 day quarantine, works in an environment where everyone has passed a 14 day quarantine, and is monitored for where they travel.
So, being here, and having a first hand view. I can tell you these kids ARE getting out. More in fact than they might if school was actually in session.
