I do believe the food bank does a lot of good but had a question that maybe one of you can answer. On the Utah Food Bank website it states that the food bank can turn each $1 donation into $7.66 worth of goods and services. I don’t understand the math on that and how that can work. Any insight? Also, I donate but I don’t like seeing multi colored paged pamphlets sent to me in the mail several times a year. Seems to be a giant waste of money but I am sure there are studies on the effectiveness of those too.
