I've been following the board for about 15 years and have posted a few times but I am now bored enough to start back up and had a few thoughts....

I genuinely felt like this years basketball team had the chance to go to the Final Four and maybe win the national championship. We had 7 seniors who know how to close games and play smart together. We have a coach and a system that perfetly fit our personel-- 3 point shooters surrounding a talented big man. Then corona hits.

2011 we've got a generational player in Jimmer and a great supporting cast (including a great big) and an easy path to the championship. There were no great teams that year. Then Davies did his deed.

In conclusion, we are cursed and I will never see BYU win a national championship in basketball.

ps. How do you guys have the time and energy to write so many posts? Also, is there some kind of high you get when validated on a point you make?

I guess we'll find out.
