BYU_Hoops Walk-on
***NON-COVID POST*** For those who ride road bikes - what is a good speed I
should aspire to? I’m recently getting into the sport and curious what some good target speeds are that I can work towards on long rides.

I did 20 miles today and averaged about 13 when it was flat, 10 uphill (like 8 on one particularly hard hill) and then was in the 20s on declines.

What are some respectable speeds for weekend warriors (not trying to compete in the Tour de France). Kind of like with running - a 7:30 mile is really good for someone just trying to stay fit. What’s the “7:30” mile equivalent on a bike?
