As health officials mull what a recent plateau at COVID-19 testing sites could mean, the number of documented cases of the virus in the state increased to 1,428 on Saturday. At least 28,000 people have been tested for the virus statewide in the past few weeks. The health department reported 117 coronavirus patients were hospitalized. Eight people have died from the virus.
Less people are getting tested now because less people are feeling the symptoms.....yet they still expect a surge in the coming weeks even though we've been hunkered down now for over two weeks??
