I'm starting to think the US will wind-up FOLLOWING and not LEADING.

What I mean by that is...I am basically sitting around reading all day with the news on constantly in the background. What I am starting to hear in bits and pieces is that other countries are getting closer to reopening schools and taking other steps towards restoring normal life...albeit gradually and carefully.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see the US leaning towards following Fauci's (and others) advice to keep things locked down tight and continue moving the goalposts back as far as returning to a more normal way of life.

I hope I'm wrong.
