Add fumbles for TDs to the mix and the turnover for TD average over those nine games is an even 1.0 — and this isn’t even counting other turnovers deep in our own side of the field where Utah was able to score on offense just moments later.
Pretty safe to assume that unless things change in coming years, one can expect us to gift Utah a touchdown on a turnover, typically nice and early in the game to give Utah plenty of momentum.
That or after we’re seemingly on our way to an easy win after shutting them out for a half.
