You are thinking of gravity, or "mass". All matter has mass.

But I don't think mass lines up in a direction, so you are wrong there too.

Maybe when matter reaches the speed of light it develops magnetic attraction? I know everything changes once you get to the speed of light. So my comment is limited to matter moving slower than the speed of light.
