Considering that the average age is a lot closer to the (60 - 69) grouping, the cruise ship might be performing slightly better than the data at large. Since the entire ship was tested, this could be an indication that the average death rate for the virus is slightly lower than the current mortality table shows. With advancements in treatments, and the possibility of the virus mutating to a less lethal strain, maybe we will see these numbers continue to inch downward.
