It wasn't me that learned it but I was involved in their discovery
I was married the year before and in custom LDS fashion we had 2 receptions the 2nd being Thanksgiving weekend.
As our first anniversary was approaching my wife (now ex-wife) and I were looking at the calendar to make some plans to be sealed, as she was a new member and not allowed to be sealed initially, when she stated "Hey look at that, Thanksgiving is on Thursday again this year."
