His position coach and defensive coordinator is unqualified for his job, and his head-coach is too stubborn/unwilling to do anything about it. I am disappointed to lose a player, especially to Utah, but I can't say I blame him. BYU is a mess right now from the AD down. Sitake gets an extension and BYU plays its worse football all season the next two games.. Offense, defense and special teams were all awful. Sitake got to laugh all the way to the bank. Last year should have been a 10 win season even with the injuries and suspensions. This falls at the feet of Holmoe in my opinion. Hiring Sitake is obviously not working out, but instead of waiting to see how the season played out, gave him an extension. I am getting calls and emails like crazy to buy tickets for 2020. $1,000 is a lot of money to pay to see BYU eek out wins vs teams like Liberty or blow out Idaho st. I am still thinking about it but I would normally not have hesitated.
