I was encouraged to apply to U of U law school as a safety school.
But then I thought, there is nothing I want less than a diploma from the University of Utah, even if it was free. So I didn't apply. Given my antipathy, I can't relate to guys who switch from one to the other. I love when guys switch from the U to BYU, but it does surprise me people can switch loyalties.
Maybe if I felt personally insulted by BYU, I'd feel motivated to go to the U and beat BYU. Maybe that's how Devin feels; maybe that's how Zach felt. Can't imagine any other scenario where I'd switch loyalties (other than maybe a coaching scenario where you just have to take the best job available).
