Not all HDMI cables support 4K
Unfortunately, when you put that one in the wall, they probably didn't even have the kind of cable that you need. Is it in some conduit in the wall? Or is there some other way to fish a new cable through? I recently bought this so I could fish through a new HDMI cable up to my TV. It was only $10.
