are you saying that 4* players that choose BYU have little faith in themselves so they choose a school With less competition?


If so I really don’t follow your logic...

Didn't all 4* players become 4* by playing on a HS team with very few D1 players? I suppose your logic makes sense if you compare Alabama to an FCS but BYU is still better than many P5 schools.... and BYU beats many top rated programs In the country.

Also, BYU should be a primary school for every active member of the church (no I’m not saying they are bad people when players go elsewhere give that a rest) due to the HC and the education level.

Far more impactful than this guessed/assumed Competition level is how trendy and flashy the school is.

I’d love to hear an interview of the 4 or 5* QB from Utah who chose Bama.... never played and then transferred To the UofU in Anonymity (Bateman I believe). Was it worth just being on a Alabama team with Sabin or does he wish he chose a school that was more likely for PT?

There are so many 4* guys who never amount to anything bc they chose the flash of a big name school over likely fame and PT at a less flashy school.
