to BYU. BYU fans haven’t seen a guy like this maybe ever. Yes, Jimmer was amazing, could shoot the lights out, as we know his ball handling wasn’t and hasn’t been one of the strengths of his game.

Mac’s ball handling is is next level, I haven’t seen his shooting numbers from last year, just highlights, and he appears to be an above average shooter. His speed and ability to penetrate is insane. We haven’t seen a guy like this at BYU. Closest I can think of is Michael Loyd Jr.

This guy would potentially be the biggest star BYU has had since Jimmer. I imagine the level of excitement would be Senior year Jimmer.

Jimmer won National Player of the year, this is nothing against Jimmer. Mac is just a dynamic, fun, flashy player we don’t see much at BYU.
