I did not have LASIK, but had Cataract at what is considered a young age for
that surgery, I was in my low 40's.

I was referred to The Eye Institute which is in Murray and had Dr. Cionni, and I would not recommend anyone else. I don't know if he does LASIK but for cataract I would use him again in a heart beat.

First eye went like clockwork and when I sat up and could see the clock across the room was amazed. 2nd eye not so much because the sac where they were going to put the lens, the wall was weak and would not hold. He had to put it in sac farther back. He said that it only happens in less than 10% of people but as he had done so many if you look at his bio is a world renowned he knew what to do and even came in the recovery room after to let me know what was going on.

The nurse almost fell off her chair when she heard he was coming to talk to me. Now I am great and can see far, like above I had to choose one or the other.

But I would check them out and see what they can offer. I know he is the director so I would assume that the Dr.'s there are pretty good at what they do.
