Car companies don’t need to develop that much code when they can buy and invest in software from companies like Aurora and others (which they are doing)

At some point the car becomes a standard computer that utilizes 3rd party software that is designed for the computer.

The video is basically a demonstration that Tesla utilizes AI/ML and microservices. Very cool, but I don’t think others are as far behind as the video says.
