Decided to make a quick trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton NP’s this weekend. Yellowstone opened their Wyoming entrances this week so we booked a place in Jackson. We headed out late this morning. Yellowstone was closed today because of weather, but we had a blast in the Grand Tetons. Five different bear sitings. Four grizzly sitings. Two of those had cubs. One black bear that about ran into our car. Several different moose. A couple of different with calves. It’s Jackson so we also saw a ton of elk. It was lightly snowing most of the day and the crowds were really light. Probably the best day I’ve ever had in the area. Looking forward to holding church in Yellowstone tomorrow.
