I wasn’t positive what it was — I am not a gun expert. My wife thought it was a bullet and I thought so too but deflected to keep her calm.

I didn’t know who to ask without sounding crazy.

And I took pictures to post to CB to ask anonymously what it was, but I wasn’t a paying subscriber, and realized I couldn’t post the photos here.

Then I got busy and never came back to it. But it’s been sitting in a baggie in my closet ever since. Just saw it and texted photos to a gun guy I know and he told me what it was.
