it's horrible from a personal standpoint, but the Penn State issues had nothing to do with competition

having 82 ineligible players is directly related to competition and is exactly what the NCAA should be punishing. They should have nothing to do with criminal violations up to and including murder because it has nothing to do with academics or athlethics.
