May 25, 1977 - 43 years years ago from yesterday - Star Wars was released. What's amazing to me is it is still a classic
and relevant even with modern-day audiences. It has stood the test of time and is still one of the great movies (and movie franchises) in the history of film.
The main reason I remember that date is because I went into the MTC the day after it came out (43 years ago today). Where has the time gone.

There's no way to explain how mind-blowing that movie was in 1977 seeing it as a child. There had been no movie
