They work great for me but Ethernet lined are probably a little faster and more reliable in general.

I’ve used them in 3 different residences - one was great, on par with Ethernet. One was so, so - on par with WiFi.

Just buy some a Google Mesh devices. Put one in the basement and run your Ethernet from that device. No need to run
