have had this on my radar. Lots of great stuff and the production value is of cinematic quality. I have some minor quibbles (hardly any time at all spent on his youth and growing up, lack of participation from Brooks Simpson and a few other notable Grant scholars) but they are just that, minor, and overall I really enjoyed the first episode and am excited for the final two, especially tomorrow's to see how they portray Grant as president and his years after the Civil War since those years are always overlooked and rarely portrayed at all.
