I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Was reading an article regarding McClung transfer by a Razorback beat writer. There is a word in the following paragraph that seems to me, incorrectly used. See if you spot it and agree, or do you think it is appropriate?
"Originally, McClung, 6-2, 186, declared for the 2020 NBA Draft but withdrew his name right before entering the portal. Immediately, McClung was berated with offers and interest from top programs around the country but eventually cut his list to seven. In addition to Arkansas, he is also considering Texas Tech, BYU, Auburn, Memphis, USC, and Wake Forest. Many believe Texas Tech is the frontrunner to land the electric point guard, and former Red Raider and current NFL superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes has even reached out to him via Twitter."
