I don’t think that the two weeks would make any difference at all with his decision. I think it could possibly make a difference in the timing of the announcement.

I’m simply stating that he may be announcing now because if he has made the decision to go to BYU for whatever reason, announcing sooner/signing sooner will allow him to use the facilities sooner.
