I have some bats in one of the soffits in my house. I want to put in a mesh bat excluder to get rid of them, but not kill them. I've built a bat house, but haven't installed it yet. I want bats in my yard, just not my house. For those who've done this, is it too late to put the excluder up? I'm worried about killing any pups if the mother bats can't get back in to feed them. I'm just wondering if it's too late to install it.
