Andy Toolson signed with BYU in 1984, long before the Internet fan sites and recruiting services were a thing. My guess is that the Twin Falls High School student body president faxed his letter of intent to LaDell Anderson who then relayed the info to Dick Harmon who then published the info in the next edition of the Daily Herald. Things were a bit simpler back in the old days.
