And there's nothing wrong with that.
But look, if BYU were reporting attendance in the high 40s or low 50s then maybe you could make this argument with a straight face. But when BYU's reported attendance is 93% of capacity, and BYU is also running steeply discounted ticket offers shortly before games, pushing discounted ticket packages, and lots of tickets are available on line for most games shortly before kickoff, combined with the fact that super successful programs with astronomical ticket demand are only getting about 80% of sold tickets scanned, then you know with absolute certainty that BYU isn't some reporting outlier in all this. Especially when the Daily Herald explicitly states that BYU counts tickets sold.
