Did you buy while it dropped or just hold?

I wasn't in the market and decided to dollar cost average and buy in stages as it was dropping.

I'm up 10% after today and my stocks are still only at 40% of their 12 month highs.

I'm hopeful that my investments will pay off some day (for once).

I did the same thing. DCA'd the dip. I'm up 22% as a whole since February.

I'm still down by a substantial amount. Small caps are still down by an average of >16% and the S&P is still off 10%.
