While a good system can certainly generate points for the players willing to set each other up — you still need good shooters & scorers to make it work well enough to beat teams w/ more talented scorers than you.

I'm hoping we have a few guys who can generate points for themselves in an efficient & willful manner, but I just don't see a single guy ready to do it at a high & consistent level like Toolson or Yoeli. But I sure hope I'm wrong on that. There were a couple dynamic scorers that Pope really wanted in the transfer portal — but didn't get. I certainly understand why he wanted them.

I do hope you're right on Harward's scoring. I really liked his motor & physicality in generating paint points at UVU, but at the same time I didn't see a guy that would be fast or vertical enough to score down there against better D1 competition. But after seeing how much Pope/Burgess improved Lee's game this year, I have to at least admit you could be more right on Harward than I am. I certainly hope you're right on him.
