Go to the ER. That's what I have to do when my headaches become unbearable. They should give you the "migraine cocktail"
It's a combination of drugs that does a pretty good job of knocking out bad migraines. No narcotics, by the way.
Off the top of my head
Toradol
benedryl
phenegren
compazine
There may be 1 or 2 others.
They give it as an IV. I usually have to go to the ER 2-3 times a year to get this. It will knock you out for a day and you'll typically feel better when you wake up.
