I am attending grad school this fall and I got assigned to a new project(17 weeks). Best case scenario I will be there for 8 weeks, sandwiched in between some leave and PTO, worst case scenario I will be on board one more month.
Regardless I won't be there for the final sprints and delivery.
Would you inform project leadership about your plans ahead of time, or just give them your two weeks when you see fit? TBH I don't have a good working relationship, as I am new to the team.
