probably weren't much in the mood for giving it at the time. At least not to the media.
My favorite is Baron Davis's interview where he pointed to Stockton as being the guy who really made him question as a young player whether he even belonged in the league. He says one game after Stockton routinely embarrassed him he basically asked himself (paraphrasing), "Do I even know how to play this game?"
It's an easy find on youtube…but very vulgar (for some, anyways; it's pretty fun-spirited, actually).
It's pretty incredible to me especially when I consider how dominant a player Baron was in college. He seemed unstoppable in some of UCLA's tourney games.
