The wife and daughter immigrated last year from Brasil. Her work authorization and SSN were finally issued. Educator for 15 years. BS and a post-graduate certificate in Education, Education Admin/Psychology.
A teaching position isn’t realistic this fall. The universities in Brasil were still processing her transcript requests when they shut down due to Covid. And there’s a long verification process after it arrives in order for her to secure her foreign-education teaching license. We have no idea how long the process will take but she’s eager to work in some capacity.
She understands the current economic situation. But she’s chomping at the bit to start working and definitely open to telecommuting.
She loves education but is open to other career fields.
She's definitely open to retail work just to kill time. But I'm also trying to think outside the box for her if there's a way she can utilize her education and language skills.
Half of you are bilingual..
Any employment ideas she might look into?
