It’s really hard because pitching has changed so much in the last 120 years.

It’s hard to compare players from different eras in every sport, but it’s particularly difficult with pitchers because of how much it has changed.

Definitely. But even trying to nail down the best pitcher since 1980, 1990, or 2000 is really tough
