From what I heard they brought in an outside consultant
To go over the problem
They didn’t have anyone as the final point person in charge
Coaches were offering kids without communicating those offers so some offers weren’t being tracked
Many “promised” scholarships after missions etc
I heard about 10-15 will need to be cut/transfer (others on a prior thread feel it’s less than that). Maybe some were just guys who had verbal offers post mission
It’s also why the recruiting dept was recently revamped. Failed “hiring your buddies” experiment
