Vandy would be 100% more likely. USC only travels west of the Mississippi to
play an SEC western division school.
As far as OOC goes, they typically don’t even leave the Carolinas. With Clemson on the docket every season OOC, they typically find plenty of games among the NC ACC schools to fill the other “decent opponent” OOC slot, and it’s a recruiting rich area for them.
