Completed summit on 5-25-2020. The lower elevation portion of the trail was dry on the way up (7AM) but muddy on the way down (11:30 AM) due to melting snow. The snow field started at 9,000 ft and was snowy until the summit. I had running shoes, yaktrax and a single ice tool. Some of the steeper snowfields would have been much easier with a harder boot that could more easily kick in "steps". At this point in the season, I would not recommend attempting the summit without some sort of self arresting device (e.g.; ice axe, ice tools, whippets).
I would estimate that the snow should be melted enough to make a "non-technical" ascent around mid-to-late June.
Very beautiful and fun!
