and camp on shore. Lots of good rivers throughout MO for doing that, and if you're interested I can get some suggestions from my wife (she grew up there floating rivers every summer).

I love backpacking, but I'd rather do it at higher elevations, with less humidity, and fewer opportunities for ticks.
